This page explains what information Todoling may store or process, why it is used, and what choices are available to you.

What We Handle

Information you enter or create while using the app

Todoling may process information you enter directly, state created when you turn features on, and limited information needed for purchases, ads, remote settings, and support.

  • Todo titles, dates, times, recurrence settings, and sort order are stored when you create or edit items and are used to show schedules, sort items, send reminders, power widgets, and sync data.
  • Day notes, theme choice, font choice, locale, and notification settings are stored when you change them and are used to personalize the app experience and notifications.
  • Subscription state, restore results, ad display state, and tracking permission status may be used to unlock paid features, restore purchases, decide whether ads are shown, and measure ad performance.
  • App version information and service state needed for remote settings may be used for update notices, ad configuration, and compatibility management.
  • Email address and message content that you choose to include in support emails are used to respond to requests, follow up, and review support history.
Where data is stored

Storage

Where does the data live?

On-device storage Most todos, notes, and preferences are stored in local database and preference storage on your device. They may remain there until you edit, delete, or remove them.
iCloud sync If you turn on iCloud sync, shared data may sync through Apple's private iCloud database across devices on the same account. Synced data remains within your Apple account and iCloud settings environment.
Support email Messages you send for support may be retained for a reasonable period while the request is handled, and then deleted or no longer used when they are no longer needed.

Retention and deletion generally follow these rules.

  • Local data may remain until you delete it inside the app or remove the app.
  • iCloud sync data may be updated or deleted when you delete synced items in the app or manage your iCloud environment.
  • Information needed for subscriptions, ads, and remote settings may be retained by those services only for as long as needed under their own policies.
  • Support emails are kept only for a reasonable period needed to resolve the request and related follow-up.

Services that may be involved depending on features you use

The services below may be used depending on how you use Todoling. When Todoling shares user data with these services, we use them on the basis that they provide the same or equivalent protection for user data as described in this policy and required by applicable law.

Apple iCloud Sync Used when iCloud sync is turned on to keep shared data in sync across devices.
Apple App Store Purchase handling and restore May be involved for subscription purchases, payment handling, and receipt-based restore.
RevenueCat Subscription status May be used to show offerings, verify access to paid features, restore purchases, and present Customer Center.
Google AdMob Ads If ads are shown to free users, ad delivery and measurement may process ad identifiers and tracking permission status.
Firebase Remote Config Remote settings Used to deliver settings such as update thresholds or ad configuration, and not to store your todo titles or note content.

Your Choices

What you can control

Todoling does not create its own member account system, so most data can be managed directly by you on your device or in your iCloud environment.

  • You can edit or delete todos and notes inside the app.
  • Notifications and iCloud sync can be turned on or off in the app settings or iOS settings.
  • You can change ad tracking permission in iOS settings at any time, and core app features are not conditioned on keeping that permission enabled.
  • Removing the app may also remove locally stored data. Data synced to iCloud may remain separately based on your iCloud settings.
  • If there is support email history you cannot remove directly or if you want to make a privacy request, contact support@bn-rb.com.
